This blog is an example of how to showcase an ‘Action Plan’ blog.
The Action Plan is the community effort to identify goals listed within the Scottish Government’s Digital Economy plan and make them happen, in partnership with other Digital Scotland community members.
This Scottish Government policy documentation describes hundreds of Goals and Tasks, organized into major chapters for key areas, such as Broadband or Digital Government focused, all of which must be completed to realize this overall vision of a leading digital nation.
such as this example for Digital Voting, a prototype demonstration aligned exactly to a stated goal of “Pioneering digital voting”.
For example Chapter 2 defines this goal:
“Trial electronic voting solutions to increase democratic participation”.
Blockchain voting pioneer Clearpoll took up this challenge:
On Tuesday October 23, the good people of Scotland will be voting YES or NO to Scottish Independence, on ClearPoll. This could ultimately change history. This is what ClearPoll is all about – giving power back to people and guaranteeing their votes count. The future is ClearPoll. pic.twitter.com/aW86UAAXEI
